The New Mexico Music Awards program continues to grow. We would like our artists, producers, songwriters, engineers and other music industry professionals to share their advice and information with our visitors.
We’d like to keep the NM music community informed about opportunities in film and music. We’d like to know about your successes and your failures. We’d like to know where the work is, the tricks of the trade and obstacles that present themselves. We want to hear about talented new artists and seasoned professionals that are often overlooked. We want to know about your workshops and music related community groups.
Here’s the only rule. We want your blog to be opinion free. No political, religious or social rants. No comments about an artist’s performance, lifestyle or abilities. We want the blog to be upbeat and informational.
I’d also like to encourage some of our more stellar music industry professionals to contribute regularly. Tell us how you won that Grammy or that Oscar. Help us to understand how hard we’ll have to work to get our careers into high gear.
The NMMA will continue to serve the New Mexico music community with new ideas and opportunities.
